I am the face behind the camera of Solis Photography. I am an expert in love stories, a professional coffee drinker and a wedding dress hoarder.
On regular days you can find me walking around carrying a big lens, giving wedding and photography tips on social media or chasing my two boys around the back yard.
I started photographing weddings in fifteen years ago and four years ago opened my own fine art photography studio in the heart of South Dakota. I love listening to love stories and can't wait to help you with yours!

I photographed my first solo wedding in 2012. I loved the experience, the romance and the beauty of the moment. That year I booked three more weddings and by 2013, three weddings turned into eight, eight turned into 15, and so on.
So, I bought my first professional camera, and the rest was history.

I grew up in Spain right by the Mediterranean Sea, but my passion for photography started in 2006 while studying in Sweden. I got my hands on a camera for the first time and since then, I haven’t been able to stop.
In 2011, after years of taking photos for fun, I started my business.

Now we live in the heart of the USA. We have two boys, one house and I run my own photography studio in Sioux Falls, SD. I spend my days between the US and Spain and yes, I still take photos during my free time because I love it! Life is good!
And the rest is history...
I met my husband in 2008 while studying abroad. We are the proof that long distance relationships can work because we did for two years before he showed up in Spain and proposed (in Spanish!)

I do 23 weddings a year. My business is thriving. I am blessed beyond measure to have a job that I adore and I can't wait to work with you!
2022
I quit my full time job and open my own solo studio.
2015
I got to train with the best wedding photographer in the country and my business explodes.
2012
Kyle and I get married and I open Solis Photography oficially.
2011
I move to the USA with one suitcase and $3,000 in my pocket.
I start taking photos as a hobby.
2010
Kyle shows up in Madrid after 2 years of long distance and proposes.

Met Kyle while studying abroad. Best friends since day one.
